When I first came to NBF, I had been on the gym weight loss bandwagon for years and years. No gym inspired me. No gym class grabbed me and made me want to stay. So year after year, try after try I failed. That is until this time. A friend recommended to give NBF a try. Budge gym was under new management and they seemed like everyone liked them so I gave it a go. How surprised was I. Not only was it truly the most comfortable gym I have ever been in, but I felt welcomed. I felt like the staff actually welcomed me and genuinely cared. I felt comfortable in classes because I wasn't the biggest in the class. Because there are people in classes of all shapes and sizes, and all fitness levels. No gym love-me-do's or show offs. Just real people trying to make a difference in their lives.
I had been going for 5 weeks when the challenge came up. I knew that this was my time to begin to fail and give up. So I joined the challenge and OMG it really was the best thing I have ever done. Not only did it keep me motivated, it made me work. And work hard. And actually make me feel like I had achieved something. In total I have lost 8.5 kg so far but what I have gained is so much more. I have gained friends. Real friends. Genuine friends with a common goal. Friends who motivate each other because we are in it together.
NBF has honestly changed my life for the better and I am truly grateful for it. Without their support, welcoming nature and commitment I would have failed again. But not this time! No way

I've been attending new body fitness since January this year (2017). I've lost 11kgs in that time but that's not even the achievement.
I suffer from extreme anxiety and depression. I have done since i was a teenager. I've developed social anxiety which is extremely difficult to handle, being an extrovert. I've been PT'ing with Kelly since i started and its unbelievable how much her support and guidance has helped me break through barriers that I've had up for decades. I used to cry, argue and sometimes, not be able to even finish my PTs. I did the 6 wk challenge and it changed my life. My personal relationships are better, my confidence had risen and my health and wellbeing has drastically improved. She gave us homework to complete that i thought i would never be able to achieve in a million years.. but i did it all. The support from all the other participants was second to none and we all got each other through it. I'm actually keen to go to the gym, i attend classes (which my social anxiety forbidded) and I've made heaps of friends. Kelly has done more for me then i can ever explain and I'm so thankful that she stuck by me when i couldn't even put up with myself. She showed me how strong the mind can be and once you overcome the fear you hold on to, you become unstoppable.

fantastic culture to be a part of.
So 18 months ago I was chatting to a friend about wanting to feel comfortable in my skin. she tells me to go see Kelly at NBF. And guess what, my trainers is better than yours
Here I am 18 months later, a completely different person. Not only am i over 20kgs lighter, but I'm fitter and stronger.
Losing weight is so hard, but with the right support, and a kick in the bum when you need it. it can be so much fun.
Imagine 6 months from now when you go to the gym because you can imagine a different way to start the day. You high 5 your buddy as you finished your warm up, which used to be your entire session. Being at your goal weight, and maintaining it.
It's possible, I know, because I'm lucky enough to have met the right people to help me.
Sure I turn up every day, thinking I'm about to have a cuppa with my mate, she reminds me that's not what I signed up for
It works because Kelly works, and she makes you work HARD. I can't thank her enough for the new me
I joined New Body Fitness looking for a new challenge but after years of playing different sports, what I found was the realisation of exactly how unfit I was.
Fast forward five months later and I am astounded at the results that had been delivered by NBF's training program, my fitness levels and strength have improved, I see muscle tone in my body and in general I feel more healthy, happy and confident.
I recently completed their six week challenge encouraged to join by Kelly and the rest of the NBF crew. I figured that if I was in for a penny I may as well of been in for a pound, so I took the tools and tips that the challenge gave me, made those small changes, changes that I thought were impossible not to long ago and dropped 8kg.
What I enjoy the most is getting to training and being surrounded by other inspiring individuals, some that are only just starting the journey and others that are well into it. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging of one another which is a
fantastic culture to be a part of.
Would I recommend new body fitness? Well I certainly have drunk the Kool-Aid so get a glass and I'll pour you one too. You won't regret it.
